Welcome to Dana Rosu Art, where nature, sacred geometry, and intuition come together. Explore contemporary paintings created through layers of colour, texture, and the personal touch of the artist’s hands. Join me on a journey of self-discovery, connection, and the quiet beauty found within and around us. If you’d like to know more about the person behind the paintings and the journey that brought me here, I’d love to share it with you.

My Art

  • I’m pleased to announce my participation in Interconnecting Lines, a group exhibition presented by Artio Gallery in Barcelona in October 2026.

For this exhibition, I will present two works from my Nature series, Harmony and Freedom. Both paintings explore the relationship between organic forms, geometric structure and the intuitive language of colour, reflecting my ongoing interest in the hidden patterns and connections that shape both nature and our inner experience.

Harmony explores balance as something fluid rather than fixed. Layers of colour, movement and geometric forms come together to create a sense of rhythm and calm, inviting the viewer to pause and find their own point of balance within the composition.

Freedom approaches the idea of release and expansion through the image of the dandelion. Its delicate structure becomes a symbol of movement, transformation and the courage to let something take its own direction.

Together, the two works reflect different aspects of the same exploration: how structure and spontaneity can coexist, and how something intuitive can gradually find its own form.

The exhibition in Barcelona is another step in the journey of my Nature series, which began with a fascination for the structures and intelligence found within the natural world. Rather than depicting nature as a landscape, I look for the patterns beneath what we see and for the moments where natural geometry, emotion and human experience begin to intersect.

I’m particularly looking forward to seeing these two paintings in dialogue with the work of the other participating artists and experiencing how their different visual languages come together under the theme of Interconnecting Lines.
