Harmony
The idea for Harmony emerged during a period when I was reflecting on how often we experience life as a series of opposites: activity and rest, certainty and uncertainty, control and surrender, individuality and connection. I noticed that much of our inner tension comes from trying to choose one side over the other, when perhaps true harmony is found in allowing both to coexist.
When I started this painting, I wasn’t trying to represent a specific flower or landscape. Instead, I wanted to create a visual expression of balance. The mandala structure became the foundation, offering a sense of order and stability, while the organic patterns and flowing lines brought movement and softness into the composition.
As the painting developed, I found myself paying attention to the relationship between every element. No shape stands alone. No line exists without influencing another. Each part contributes to the whole, creating a rhythm that feels both structured and alive.
Working on Harmony became a reminder that balance is not a fixed state we achieve once and for all. It is an ongoing process of adjustment, listening, and realignment. Just as nature continuously seeks equilibrium, we are constantly finding our way back to our own center.
For me, Harmony represents the beauty that emerges when different forces are allowed to work together rather than compete. It is an invitation to embrace both structure and flow, strength and softness, and to recognize that true harmony is not the absence of differences, but the way they come together to create something whole.
